Ribbon Flower on a Starry Night

*SECOND post of the day. Don’t forget to COMMENT on the previous card, pretty please :)

DSC03754

Hello bloggers! I have another card based on the colour story at PDCC. I am so not liking that my posts are not showing on the dashboard :/ Most of you have missed my previous CASE Study card so do check it out and don't forget to comment!

DSC03750

The polka dotty ribbon flower is handmade (tutorial coming tomorrow) and the leaves are diecuts (CB), the butterfly was a black and white printout which I coloured with regular Faber Castell colour pencils.

I have dyed the blue paper and then painted over it to get the grungy, distressed look. After it was dry, I inked the edges with ColorBox queue black.

The Pie Lane glitter balls look like stars in the night sky! I should make a card with night sky and glitter balls as stars. *light bulb moment*

I have added pearls on the lace trim ( can’t do without pearls!).

I am loving this blue background!

leaving you today with this image… enjoy!

You seem to be having way too many light bulb moments..is that why there is an electricity shortage?
but seriously I would love to see one card with simply blue and the silver glitter balls!!
Couldn't you just remove the butterfly and post it...I can't take it in for ICR..coz that butterfly counts as a digital image...why do you do this to me???
