For the love of Butterflies

DSC03720

I thought I was going on a break! :/

My mum’s friend is leaving for London and she wants around 5-6 cards to take with her…  I TOLD my mum I am taking a break and she told her friend… but that lady wasn't listening to anyone… Anyway, I HAD to make her cards… here is the first of five based on the color story at PDCC.

Here’s my card…

DSC03708

The butterflies are printouts and I have coloured over the printout with Crayola markers.

I have used a piece of real wood scrapping/shaving and stamped on it. The sentiment stamp is from TradeFish Designs. The scallops are hand cut. I coloured the scallops with Crayola makers.

DSC03719

I have been asked many times which folder I use to make wood grain texture. I am sure most of you have this, it is CB’s Forest Branches and I use it horizontally to emboss and use the de-bossed part on the card.

Hope this is ok.

Hugs!

Erum

Crayola markers, you say? I HAVE to get myself some of those. The colouring is magnificent and, well, if you had to come out of your break to make this then maybe you need to keep creating. Your work is just stunning, Erum!

Very nice card! I love the natural look and the wood shaving looks great! I also went with the butterflies... :) By the way... it doesen't bother me that the card is without the shimmer... it seems like it wouldn't fit to this card.

Have a great and creative day!

Very nice card. I love the natural look and the wood shaving looks great! I also went with the butterflies. :) By the way... I think it was a good decision not to use shimmer on this one... I think it wouldn't fit to it.

Have a great and creative day,
